Objective’s own code Content Management System, CrystalClearWeb, was adapted to give Anson full control of the website management including promotion of products, campaigns and news items. And, with a sales mechanism for requesting samples, the technology is already in place to help familiarise customers with the ordering process.

Solution
Our design partner provided some professional photographs and graphics with an innovative web design. Objective’s main focus was to develop the management side of the website this was divided into two parts: A Product and Customer Application and an Content Management System (CMS) to control the content of the website.
The Product and Customer Application is a desktop application that acts as a database. This allows staff to add, edit or delete product and customer information. The information in this database is primarily used to provide dynamic product information for the ‘off the shelf’ products.
The Online CMS allows the system administrator to update the website content for the About Us, Hot News, Bespoke Design and Distributor sections plus any additional sections which may be added in the future.
Extra pages and sub-pages can be added to each section, which means the website can extend in line with the predicted growth of Anson. Each page can attach an unlimited number of downloads and images can be captioned. An infinite amount of News stories and Distributors can also be added.
The CMS also gives Anson control of 'Promotional Areas' of the website. This module allows uploads of new pictures on the Home Page and for each Product Category. Promotional banners can be linked to specific products to advertise seasonal campaigns.
New customers can request samples of products. Once they are in the description area for a specific product they can simply order by clicking the 'Order Sample' link. Once selected they can then 'checkout' and enter their details to process the sample order. This sales mechanism for requesting samples has been set up to help familiarise customers with the ‘ordering’ process. Anson plan to offer product ordering and on-line transactions in future phases of their web development.
