The solution was a fully functional operational system comprising a Windows application, web application/extranet and data collection via digital pen and Microsoft Exchange Server.
All systems were linked to a central SQL database.
The web application provided clients secure login tailored to their corporate image and individual information and reporting requirements. It also handled multi-site operational requirements for each job as well as certificates and invoicing.
The windows application handles the heavy and process intensive requirement of resource management allowing central allocation of resources for jobs.
Both systems provide a wide range of management reports.
The system has allowed the company huge competitive edge in competing for high volume, low value work and has resulted in them winning contracts worth millions of pounds.
