Microsoft SharePoint Web Parts

Web parts are specific pieces of functionality wrapped up so that they can be used in any SharePoint web site.

With experience of developing web parts Objective can either customise out of the box web parts or create bespoke web parts to match your exact requirements, and help you customise your SharePoint application.  

With SharePoint web parts you can bring together relevant functionality to help you do you job more effectively.

For example Dashboards may be developed show casing KPI information using Excel Services or Performance Point Services connected to core company database systems so you can see: sales, profit, complaints, performance or any other measure.

Project Sites may be created using web parts to share e-mail, documents (out of the box) but then also bring in a bespoke web part feeding Project Snag information directly from mobile device feeds.

SharePoint offers a way of sharing information and web parts are the building blocks that join functionality together to make that information really usable and useful.
